Handy Climbing Tips
If you are interested in climbing in North Wales it might be useful to check out the wiki sites below. These open source websites are run by climbers for climbers. They allow climbers to keep up to date with any developments and contribute feedback.

Our song!
These 4 gentlemen, took it upon themselves to write and perform a song for us at The Outdoors Show.
They were duly rewarded with limited edition wales1000things t-shirts.
The lyrics in case you didn't catch them are:

It's where I want to be.
From Llandudno to Swansea
Fun for all the family.
1000 things to do in Cymru.
Come to the 'Big Country.'
There's more than just Pot Noodle,
If you get to Anglesey.
There's miles and miles of country,
Old pubs stocked full of ales,
Don't wait 'til tomorrow,
Lose yourself in Wales!

Day 3 at the NEC
Well, three days have flown by at The Outdoors Show with loads of people popping past the stand and checking out the new website.
Most promised to upload stuff when they get home.
As expected, the stickers went like hot cakes,
and some of of our fav Welsh bloggers Lowri Davies and Chris Cowell popped past to say hi too.
Oh yeah, and the rugby yesterday was pretty good as well...

Googlewhack!
I have been looking for interesting blogs for us to link up to and managed to find a "Googlewhack" by typing in the words "land yachting" and “puffin".
For those of you who are thinking "A google what?" here is the definition (borrowed from Wikipedia):
"A Googlewhack is a Google search query consisting of two words - both of which must be in Google's dictionary, and without quotation marks - that returns a single result."
Beardy comedian Dave Gorman wrote a book all about Googlewhacks, in which told the story of him traveling across the world finding people who had authored them. Check him out here.
Incidentally, if any of you have any interesting blogs about your own adventures in Wales let us know!
